This limited-edition 8-year-old rye is crafted from 100% rye grain grown on the Omlin family farm in Quincy, Washington. Aged in heavily toasted, lightly charred new American oak barrels and bottled at 100 proof, it delivers a bold, mature rye character that reflects Woodinvilles grain-to-glass philosophy.

Nose: Dark molasses, brown sugar, clove, baking spices and a hint of dried cranberry.

Palate: Full-bodied with layered notes of espresso, mocha, dark honey, cinnamon and bold rye spice alongside toasted oak.

Finish: Long and warming, with a peppery oak grip, lingering vanilla and drying wood tannins.

Distillery Information

Founded in 2010 by Orlin Sorensen and Brett Carlile, Woodinville Whiskey Co. quickly became one of the leading craft distilleries in the Pacific Northwest. Partnering with late master distiller David Pickerell, they built a fully grain-to-glass operation using locally sourced grains and proprietary barrel toasting techniques. Their spirits are aged in central Washingtons extreme climate, producing deep flavor development. The 8-Year Limited Edition Rye represents the distillerys patience and precision, marking one of their oldest and most acclaimed rye releases to date.
