In 2014, the Masters Collection made history with the first Pinot Noir finished Kentucky Bourbon the Sonoma-Cutrer Pinot Finish. Following that, in 2016, we introduced the first-ever American Brandy Cask finished Bourbon. Utilizing Pinot Noir and brandy barrels from renowned Sonoma County wineries, these releases boasted bold red and dried fruit flavors, complemented by notes of dark chocolate and baking spice.

As wineries embraced aging red wines in used Woodford Reserve barrels, creating a distinct Bourbon Barrel Aged genre, Elizabeth McCall took inspiration from this trend. She experimented with different combinations, including finishing Woodford Reserve in Sonoma County wine barrels initially used to mature Woodford Reserve. The result is the Sonoma Triple Finish, a one-of-a-kind blend of Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, finished in Sonoma County Pinot Noir, Brandy, and former Bourbon barrels previously used for red wine aging.
