The finish builds steadily, carrying forward the fruits from the palate alongside spiced vanilla bean, buttery seasoned oak, and a thick custard-like richness that lingers long and spacious.

About Echoes of Oak: This inaugural release of Echoes of Oak is comprised of 23 meticulously hand-selected and blended barrels of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, all crafted by Jim Rutledge. Aged between nearly 6 and just over 9 years, this bourbon features Jims preferred high-rye mashbill of 65% corn, 25% rye, and 10% malted barley at 107.2 proof.

About Jim Rutledge: Jim Rutledge is a living legend in the world of bourbon, revered for transforming Four Roses Bourbon into one of Kentuckys most celebrated distilleries. A native Kentuckian, Rutledge spent more than two decades as Master Distiller at Four Roses (19942015), where his innovative blending of ten distinct recipes redefined modern bourbon craftsmanship.

Honored with induction into the Bourbon Hall of Fame (2001) and the global Icons of Whiskey Hall of Fame (2012), Rutledge remains one of the industrys most respected figures. Beyond his time at Four Roses, he has guided countless distilleries as a consultant, mentor, and master blender.
