Critic tasting note: (2015 vintage) “A very youthful wine and, with just 600 bottles produced, possibly the rarest of all Henschke releases. It is the bounty of a small parcel of semillon that grows within the Hill of Grace Vineyard, planted in 1952. It has freshness and crisp, structural punch in 2015 with some riper aromas, flavors and textures. Some gently grassy and waxy notes lead to lime, lemon and light, fresh lemon-peel aromas. The palate is both fresh and concentrated with a very smooth-honed core, thanks to barrel fermentation, a nine-month rest in French oak and a further spell in bottle before release as a five-year-old white.
