Drumlin is made from one exceptional ingredient?rye sourced from the Champlain Valley. The rye is ground in-house at the country?s first Climate Neutral certified distillery before being fermented, distilled and barrel aged for at least three years on-site.

The distillery starts with a mash of 100% rye ? no barley, no other grains ? and every grain of rye in the spirit is grown within 25 miles of the distillery. This is a little extra work but results in stronger, more vibrant flavor.

The spirit is double distilled, then aged in new American oak barrels for at least three years, with a total annual production of just a dozen barrels.

The result is a delicious and lively rye whiskey that expresses the terroir of our warm and fertile valley. Appalachian Gap Drumlin Rye is the perfect expression of the terroir of the distillery?s warm and fertile valley.

Appalachian Gap Drumlin Rye Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Citrus, raisins, caramel, spice, a hint of vanilla.

Palate: Hints of toffee, notes of dark fruit, stone fruit, pepper, rye bread, spices and cinnamon. Quite a bit of heat from the high proof, but it is a clean heat.

Finish:fruity and earthy with a hint of smoke, and a lingering and smooth finish.
