Many distilleries offer single casks, providing a chance to experience a more unique and natural version of a familiar spirit. However, Glenfarclas Family Casks elevate this experience: If your budget allows, you can choose from vintages spanning five decades. As of now, the Grant family has released hundreds of vintage malts from the early 1950s to 2014. Each year is distinct, with cask aging varying between releases, so you never know exactly what you’ll get. Our latest shipment focuses on sherry-matured malts, which, in our view, pair perfectly with the distillery’s robust, fruity new-make. Direct-fired stills add extra character, while traditional dunnage warehouses maintain a constant temperature, promoting long, slow maturation. However, some selections may peak relatively young.
