Many things are considered a luxury these days, but rare things are. Fads come and go, experiments get and lose our attention, and every week there’s a new next best thing. But some things are exceptional no matter the fashion. One of those things is Macallan’s Whisky, the shiny and elegant constant. No wonder James Bond likes it.

Macallan Edition No.4, an extremely limited Highland Single Malt from Speyside, is another bull’s eye and it’s a marvelous commitment to wood. The Edition No.4 was crafted from a combination ofEuropean and American oak casks.

Master Distiller Nick Savage did a really savage thing here, in the best possible way. It’s a well-balanced dram that shows the best of each cask type. It embodies the craftsmanship and clever design of the new fancy distillery. It’s smooth, robust and luxurious and, quite frankly, you deserve it.
