WINEMAKER’S NOTES:

Introducing Toasted Barrel Bourbon Barrel aged Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles. Riding the wave of all things Bourbon are good, Toasted Barrel has taken that trend up a level by utilizing the finest Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in Kentucky bourbon barrel for 4 months, this classic Paso Robles Cabernet is enhanced with flavors of vanilla, caramel, and spice from the barrel woods natural reaction to the charing. In Bourbon barrel production, there are varying degrees of firing charing depending on the desired flavor impact. For Toasted Barrel, we have chosen Char level #3 to perfectly influence the flavor complexity.
