“Being a Wofford student, I received an incredible amount of support. I was lucky to have such a strong community that was always willing to listen and lend a helping hand to another fellow Terrier. As a biology major from Greenville, S.C., I feel fortunate to have found my passion and am now pursuing a degree in business management at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. My ultimate goal is to combine my love for biology and business to pursue a career in biotech. When I first shared my idea with Calhoun Kennedy ’89, he immediately connected me with Dixon Dedman ’03. Dedman, a whiskey expert with a family history in the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, has established successful brands such as Kentucky Owl and 2XO. His expertise and collaboration have been invaluable in creating our bourbon to celebrate Wofford. From the bottling process to the final product, Wofford connections have played a crucial role. Aged 6 years.
